I am really bad at updating this thing

I am really bad at updating my blog so now that I have it on my mind I will give a quick little update here.
My trip back home was amazing. It was so nice to go away for a while. My trash the dress was great, there are a lot of good pictures coming my way. So I cant wait to get that disc from her. It should be here soon and when it is I will post some pictures up here. I got a few more pages done in my scrapbook. Slowly moving forward with that. I almost finished our engagement one. I have one page left. I finished my bridal shower pages. And now.... I need to start our wedding album... dreading that one. For the mean time I am making a coffee table book with all the pictures. So far I am at 70 some pages.

Now that I am back in Flag, I finally got a job. Whoo!! About time right? It only took 3 months to get one. I work at Michael's and its pretty fun so far. It will be nice to actually do something again instead of sitting at home all day. Although I kind of miss that!

Anyways that is my update for the mean time. I am sure I will be back in a week means I seem to do this weekly. haha

What I have been doing

It's been a while since I posted...I think about 2 weeks. Figure I should do an update on what is going on in the wonderful world of Kelsey!
-For starters I finished my project of making paintings and they look pretty good. I am not happy with one right now but I will figure out what to do with it some time. I dont know if I want to re-do it or make it better some how. Any suggestions on it would be greatly appreciated!!
-Our apartment is pretty much put together. Its missing a few things here and there but other than that its pretty darn good. It is now our home...for 3 years!
-Wednesday I am heading back to Colorado for a much needed break for almost a week. I am really looking forward to having a life and socializing again. Lately my life has been sitting in our apartment and being online. Fun stuff!
-Thursday night at 5pm I am trashing my wedding dress with one of my Bridesmaids Emily. She is getting in her bridesmaid dress and is doing it with me. I am sooooo excited to be finally doing this. After I trash it, I want to cut parts of the dress (the cleaner parts) to make a Christening dress for my daughter one day, I also want a few squares for when I make a quilt. So pictures will be up of TTD soon!
-Friday night I am scrapbooking with my mommy. From 6-midnight. It is going to be fun, I just hope I can get some creative energy going that night! Else its not going to be fun. Hopefully I can get a lot done that night. I need to finish our engagement album, start our wedding and honeymoon. I still have to scrapbook Boston, California, and Chicago. I got lots to do!!
-Sunday a whole bunch of us are going to go to a corn maze. Its going to be wicked fun. I am very excited about that. I haven't been to one since my senior year.

Random Updates:
-I got a job at Michael's. I should start when I get back from Colorado. I am looking forward to getting out and doing something again. It has almost been a year since I worked....and I am very bored.
-I am doing a friends wedding pictures. I am her second photographer which is very exciting. I am building the "wedding" section in my portfolio up. I am also doing a friends trash the dress session in Flordia this summer. I am so excited about that one too. Slowly but surely my business is starting to come together. Now I just need Ben to finish my website and I would be good to go.

Making my NAU football shirt

We went to our first football game of the year. NAU vs UofA. Well we got our butts kicked but that is pretty standard. We are a division 1A team and UofA is a division 1AA team so yeah we always get our butts kicked, but I was noticing the other day before we went to the game that I didnt have any of my NAU shirts any more. So I thought I would make one. I am so glad to did, its awesome and I am very proud of it!!!

Anyways, so at the game it was me, Ben (husband) and my ex-roomie. While we were there we were makign jokes and we got a really good one. It went something like this:

Curiosity killed the kitty: (UofA is the wildcats)
What happened when the kitty cat got to close to the Lumberjack? (NAU is the lumberjacks)
BAMMMMMM buh-bye kitty cat!!!
We thought it was pretty funny. In two years we are going to make shirt that say that when we play them.

And after the game in tucson, we drove to Chandler, AZ and had dinner at IHOP with Ben's cousin. After that we took roomie home and we headed back to Flag. We got in at 4am. YUCK that was so not fun!!!

My life is boring

Here we are again.... me having no job.....yet. Hoepfully by Thursday she will call and say the job is yours. If not I am going to go nuts. I have no life again. It sucks. Its back to spending all day on facebook/weddingbook which is fun but it gets old fast.

I am starting my new project tomorrow of making a headband for my friend Emily's wedding. We shall see how that one goes!! I am excited though, at least its something to do. And now that we will be here in flag for 3+ years I think I will start getting my name out in photography and see if I can do weddings, or births or something.

Other than that nothing is really knew. Still trying to put the house together again. Ben finished making our bed, entertainment center and a few other things so maybe I will take pictures of those and post. They are pretty sweet!!

Home Sweet Home

We are finally back in Flagstaff and are loving every minute of it. We are sooooooo happy to be out of california. We are all moved it and almost all unpacked. We still have a trip to our storage place to move everything out of there. One more trip and we are officially moved into our new apartment. Ben starts school tomorrow and has unofficial track practice tomorrow as well. As for me, its finding a job here which has been tough. We thought leaving early would be a great idea for finding a job but everyone said No were not hiring yet come back in two weeks. Dang it! Hopefully I will be able to find a job soon means I have open avaliablity. Please be praying for finding a job! Anyways as soon as the house is clean I will take pictures and post them on here. Its nothing special that is for sure, the kitchen...if you can even call that is a little small but what can you do.

Back in Fresno..... for 5 more days

We got back from Chicago yesterday. It was so much fun. On Thursday, we went to dinner with grandpa. We had the best chicken I have ever eaten. Oh I so wish I lived there, I would eat there all of the time. Friday, Ben and I drove up to Milwaukee to meet his mom's grandparents to give them Rocky. Friday was the sadist day of my life. Giving away my baby was so sad. I miss him sooooooo much, but he is in a good home now. After we dropped off the puppy, we drove to Chicago. Once we got there it was raining so we went into the Water Tower mall and shopped. We got a lot of cool stuff. Ben got a really cute Hollister button up shirt, and at Macy's he got 2 dress shirts and a tie for dirt cheap. We found a Chicago Cubs store and got a lot of cubs stuff. We got grandpa a Cubs clock to replace the Brewers one. We got way sweet cups, Ben got fuzzy dice for his car that have the cubs logo on them. For dinner we went to Gino's pizza and got real deep dish pizza. The best pizza I have ever had!!! Than we took the L back up. Saturaday was great grandpa's 93rd birthday party. We started out by everyone doing a chore, I was in charge of 3 girls making fruit salad. Ben was doing the corn. After that we went to Gurney Mills mall and we got more sweet stuff. We first got a pair of shoes, I got Addias shoes with the purple strips and Ben got more white shoes to throw out his other ones. Than we went to Bakers shoe store and I got way sweet heels for 7.50. Heck yeah man. Unforuntitally they didnt have my size in the cutest shoes I wanted. I was really sad. I still want those shoes. Than we went to Sports Authority and we got Chicago Bears stuff, I got a sweet Bears jacket, it looks like a cowgirl jacket. Cutest thing ever. Also got a beanie to keep my ears warm come winter. Ben got little decals for the cars. Than we had to go back. We didnt even get through half of the mall before we had to leave. I so want to go back to that mall. Once we got back home we started playing the Wii with the family, than everyone got there we had an amzing dinner. After dinner we went a played round robin ping pong. That was way fun. Than we played more Wii. On Sunday, we went to church which was really fun. Than we got back and had lunch of Ribs and BBQ chicken. So good, after that we went to Lake Geniva. It started raining again and we got stuck in an arcade for a while. It was kind of fun. Once the rain let up we ran for the car and went back home. We had pizza for dinner and played the family game of Rook, where ben won. After that we played more Wii. And went to bed. Than the next morning we had to wake up at 4:30 am to be at the airport.

Now we are at home and we have started packing before we leave forever!!!! We are sooooooooooo excited to be leaving Fresno and going back to flag. We miss it there so much. I will be sad to be leaving the girls I met here, the pool, and the palm trees. That I will miss but other than that I cant wait to leave.

Tomorrow morning... ugh at 4 am we leave for the airport to go to Chicago. It is Ben's great grandpa's 93rd birthday on the 10th of this month. How exciting. I get to see his family again whom I love so much. They are awesome. On Friday, we are sending our puppy Rocky to his new home. :( very sad, but after that we are going into the city and having a good time. I love Chicago soooooooooooooooooooo much. Its awesome. I am so happy to be going back there. However I am not happy about getting up at 3:30 to leave means Ben and I normally go to bed at 2 am. We are planning on staying up all night and watching movies together as our last family night together.

We are also in the process of packing everything up for when we move back to flagstaff. Ugh, I hate packing so much, this is the 3rd time in less than 8 months that we have moved. Thank the Lord its the last time (hopefully) till Ben graduates in a year and a half to two years. Whooooo.

My first post on my blog..... weird. I said I would never get one of these but guess what. I gave in. Oh well...
So today I took pictures of Roz and Mitch. That was way fun. they are such a cute couple. Very cute pictures.
I have been trying to edit them but it has taken me forever because my computer has been sooooooo stupid. Ugh technology some days.... its a pain.
After pictures, Roz and I went shopping. We are planning on going to the farmers market tonight. Hopefully they have some cool stuff.
