We got back from Chicago yesterday. It was so much fun. On Thursday, we went to dinner with grandpa. We had the best chicken I have ever eaten. Oh I so wish I lived there, I would eat there all of the time. Friday, Ben and I drove up to Milwaukee to meet his mom's grandparents to give them Rocky. Friday was the sadist day of my life. Giving away my baby was so sad. I miss him sooooooo much, but he is in a good home now. After we dropped off the puppy, we drove to Chicago. Once we got there it was raining so we went into the Water Tower mall and shopped. We got a lot of cool stuff. Ben got a really cute Hollister button up shirt, and at Macy's he got 2 dress shirts and a tie for dirt cheap. We found a Chicago Cubs store and got a lot of cubs stuff. We got grandpa a Cubs clock to replace the Brewers one. We got way sweet cups, Ben got fuzzy dice for his car that have the cubs logo on them. For dinner we went to Gino's pizza and got real deep dish pizza. The best pizza I have ever had!!! Than we took the L back up. Saturaday was great grandpa's 93rd birthday party. We started out by everyone doing a chore, I was in charge of 3 girls making fruit salad. Ben was doing the corn. After that we went to Gurney Mills mall and we got more sweet stuff. We first got a pair of shoes, I got Addias shoes with the purple strips and Ben got more white shoes to throw out his other ones. Than we went to Bakers shoe store and I got way sweet heels for 7.50. Heck yeah man. Unforuntitally they didnt have my size in the cutest shoes I wanted. I was really sad. I still want those shoes. Than we went to Sports Authority and we got Chicago Bears stuff, I got a sweet Bears jacket, it looks like a cowgirl jacket. Cutest thing ever. Also got a beanie to keep my ears warm come winter. Ben got little decals for the cars. Than we had to go back. We didnt even get through half of the mall before we had to leave. I so want to go back to that mall. Once we got back home we started playing the Wii with the family, than everyone got there we had an amzing dinner. After dinner we went a played round robin ping pong. That was way fun. Than we played more Wii. On Sunday, we went to church which was really fun. Than we got back and had lunch of Ribs and BBQ chicken. So good, after that we went to Lake Geniva. It started raining again and we got stuck in an arcade for a while. It was kind of fun. Once the rain let up we ran for the car and went back home. We had pizza for dinner and played the family game of Rook, where ben won. After that we played more Wii. And went to bed. Than the next morning we had to wake up at 4:30 am to be at the airport.
Now we are at home and we have started packing before we leave forever!!!! We are sooooooooooo excited to be leaving Fresno and going back to flag. We miss it there so much. I will be sad to be leaving the girls I met here, the pool, and the palm trees. That I will miss but other than that I cant wait to leave.
